We work with your initial carbon fibre component design to recommend improvements which can enhance manufacturability.
For example, our engineering team partnered with a company to create their design for a medical x-ray application. Through our input and innovation it was determined that a different approach to the manufacturing process created a stronger product, used less raw materials and delivered improved functionality.
The development process involves repeated discussions with each customer to reach the optimal design, and is achieved by following processes we’ve created that utilise our full capability.
Other aspects considered during the development process include:
- Patient comfort
- X-ray clarity
- X-ray shielding
- Surface finishes
This process results in a prototype model for production purposes, which once approved, then moves forward into the next stage of the Delivery process.
