Multi-Ply Attends Careers Fair to Inspire the Next Generation in Advanced Manufacturing

Last week we demonstrated our commitment to the composites industry and local talent, by participating in a careers fair for Year 9 school students.

The event, aimed at young learners exploring future career paths, was an opportunity for Multi-Ply to showcase the exciting world of advanced manufacturing while reinforcing our dedication to the Composites UK Skills Pledge and Lancashire Skills Pledge.

Speaking about the event, Vicky Bushell Chartered MCIPD, Human Resources Manager at Multi-Ply, said, “We are passionate about engaging young minds and supporting the future workforce. This careers fair was a fantastic opportunity to showcase the exciting world of manufacturing and encouraged students to explore careers in composites. By supporting initiatives like the Lancashire Skills Pledge and Composites UK Skills Pledge, we are helping to build a strong, skilled workforce for the future.”

With our continued investment in talent and innovation, Multi-Ply remains a key advocate for industry growth, ensuring that both the region and the composites sector benefit from a well-trained, forward-thinking workforce.

Our participation in the Year 9 careers fair was testament to our vision of inspiring the next generation in advanced manufacturing.
