Multi-ply team to the rescue

Multi-Ply has recently been contacted by a local manufacturing company to help them replace one of their key composite tools which had been accidently damaged in production. They had a very short time frame to rectify the tool to avoid delay in their production and to meet their promised ship date. Our engineering team assessed the tool and agreed we had the capabilities and people to make a new tool in this very tight timeframe.

With our engineering and manufacturing department’s experience, together with the ability to manufacture composite tooling inhouse, enabled us to produce the carbon fibre mould tool, in turn allowing the company to keep to their customer promise date. This was an unusual situation, we are so proud of the fantastic effort from our production teams to produce this tool in such a short time.
